NCLL OFFERS CONSERVATION EASEMENTS CLASS

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a class on the U.P. Land Conservancy and conservation easements at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, in Cohodas Hall room 416 at Northern Michigan University.
Following a short slideshow presentation, participants will carpool to the Ford Eagle Preserve in southwestern Marquette County, where they will learn firsthand what conservation easements are and what they do. Participants will be able to hike around the natural preserve.
This class costs $4 for NCLL members and $7 for non-members. Register by Sept. 24 by calling Jim Matteson at 228-4165.
