GRADUATE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE AT NMU

MARQUETTE, Mich.—A free professional development conference for Northern Michigan University graduate students will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, in the University Center.
Seminars will cover topics such as techniques to engage large student populations with multiple learning styles, job interviews, resume and portfolio building, dining etiquette, professional adaptability, dealing with behavior problems in the classroom, leadership, grant writing, academic publishing and developing professional relationships.
