MARQUETTE, Mich.—Organist Igor Kriz will perform “Bach Before Dinner” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, in Northern Michigan University’s Reynolds Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public. Along with several Bach pieces, Kriz will perform the premiere of a new piece by Peter Hamlin titled “Maailman Matti Times Seven.” This piece is math-centered and a take on the Finnish dancing and marching tune “Maailman Matti.”
