3OH!3 HEADLINES CONCERT AT NMU

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The musical group 3OH!3 will headline a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in the Berry Events Center at Northern Michigan University. Other featured acts include Hellogoodbye, Down with Webster and special guests Southern Belle.

            The Colorado natives 3OH!3 rose to number 7 on  Billboard’s Hot 100 with their 2008 hit “Don’t Trust Me” and were nominated at the 2009 MTV music awards for Best New Artist. They have collaborated with a number of pop artists, including Katy Perry, Ke$sha and Lil John. Their music appeared on the soundtrack for the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland and has been featured on the television show, Hellcats, several MTV specials and The Sims 3 video game.     Hellogoodbye gave a concert at NMU two years ago and returns by popular demand. The power-pop band is releasing a new full-length album in November. Hellogoodbye has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Rap-rock group Down with Webster and Southern Belle, a quartet from Portland, Ore., will round out the performance lineup.

Advance tickets cost $20 floor/$18 general admission for NMU students and $24 floor/$20 general admission for the general public. The day of the show, all tickets will cost $24. Tickets can be purchased in advance at NMU EZ Ticket Outlets. 

            This concert is presented by Northern Arts and Entertainment.
