NMU ORCHESTRA POPS CONCERT SUNDAY

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Michigan University will perform a free pops concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, in Reynolds Recital Hall.
The concert will begin with Bach’s “Concerto in A Minor,” a three -movement piece that will feature student soloists. From there, the concert will take a more Halloween-oriented turn, with songs such as “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” “Harry Potter Symphonic Suite,” and “The Winds of Poseidon from the Odyssey.”
