MARQUETTE, Mich.—During World War II, the U.S. government and many Americans viewed those of German ancestry as potentially dangerous. Eberhard Fuhr will share his personal story inside the FBI roundup of 11,000 German-Americans incarcerated in the United States when he presents “Locked Up” at Northern Michigan University.

Fuhr will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, in the West Science Building’s Mead Auditorium. In addition to his talk, news accounts, photos, letters and government documents will be displayed. The public is invited free of charge.
