NCLL HOLDS PROGRAM ON TOBACCO

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a free class called “Tobacco ‘Highs’ and ‘Lows’ and Laws” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, in the Peter White Public Library’s community room.
Health Educator Sarah Derwin and former American Lung Association U.P. Director Carol Margriff will address new and emerging tobacco products and how they target children. They will discuss products such as Click, Snus and E-Cigs. They will also present information on the state’s new tobacco law and how it is working in Marquette County.
