NMU CLASS HOSTS 'RUSSIAN FOOD NETWORK' EVENT

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University students in a world studies course titled Russian mysteries will present a "Russian Food Network" event at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, in the Whitman Hall commons. Admission is free. 

The event will feature cuisine from Russia and its surrounding regions, with recipes selected, researched and prepared by the NMU students. Dishes include wheat berries with honey and poppy seeds, mushroom caviar, chicken Kiev, noodle and cheese bake, kidney dill pickle soup, Russian gingerbread and others.
