MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Canadian female folk-pop duo Dala will perform at Northern Michigan University on Saturday, March 12. The International Performing Arts Series concert is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. in Forest Roberts Theatre. 

Still in their 20s, Amanda Walther and Sheila Carabine have recorded four albums, toured extensively throughout Canada and appeared at prestigious Newport Folk Festival and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. They are known for pitch-perfect harmonies and received the 2010 Canadian Folk Music Award for best vocal group.

Ticket prices are: students, $5 advance, $6 door; faculty/staff and seniors 60+, $13/$15; general public, $18/$20. They are available at all NMU EZ Ticket outlets.
