MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University’s College of Business is accepting registrations for the 2011 George Gustafson Accounting and Finance CPE Seminar Series. Six seminars, each worth four credits of CPE units, will be offered.

The schedule and topics follow. Morning sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to noon and afternoon sessions from 1-4:30 p.m.

            Thursday, May 19: charitable and planned giving, morning; managerial advisory services (cost accounting), afternoon.

            Friday, May 20: ethics for accountants, morning.

            Thursday, May 26: governmental accounting, morning; federal tax update, afternoon.

            Friday, May 27: nonprofit corporations, morning.
