NCLL PRESENTS 'U.P. GOES TO WAR'

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a program on the Upper Peninsula’s involvement in World War II at home and abroad at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, in the Superior Dome’s room C108.

            Larry Chabot, author of “The U.P. Goes to War” and “Saving Our Sons,” will discuss how 80 percent of U.P. residents were involved in the war effort. He will tell the story of who they were, what they did and how it impacted everyone.

            This presentation is free for members and $5 for non-members. Register by April 2 by contacting Judy Martin at 343-6609.
