NMU SHOW CHOIR HOLDS CONCERT

MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University’s Lake Effect Show Choir will present its “A Taste of Home Sweet Home” concert at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 20-21 in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center.
Desserts and hors d’oeuvres, including those with an Upper Peninsula flavor, will be served. According to choir director Sharon Green, many of the featured selections will celebrate the U.P.’s “superior place.”
The program includes “I Got the Music in Me,” Queen’s “Somebody to Love,” “We are Family,” Michael Buble’s “Home” “Bill Bailey Won’t You Please Come Home,” and more.
Jill Grundstrom is the group’s choreographer and Annette Brown the accompanist.
Tickets, which must be purchased by Monday, April 18, cost $15 and are available at the NMU music department office in room 102 Thomas Find Arts Building or Forsberg Flowers on Third Street in Marquette.
