INVISIBLE CHILDREN PRESENTATION AT NMU
Tuesday 19, 2011
MARQUETTE, Mich.—Members of the national non-profit advocacy group Invisible Children, which seeks to end Africa’s longest-running war, bring peace to Uganda and stop the abduction of children to serve as soldiers, will give a presentation at Northern Michigan University. A rescued child soldier who has fought in the war will also share his personal experiences.
This free event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center. The NMU student chapter of Invisible Children is hosting the delegation.
