NCLL OFFERS FLY-FISHING EXCURSION

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will feature a class called “Riffles to Rises” on Wednesday, June 15, at Strawberry Lake.
Ken Snyder of Trout Unlimited will provide instructional lessons on fly-fishing equipment and casting, aquatic insects and knot tying. No fishing licenses are required. All fishing equipment is provided. Participants should meet at 12:30 p.m. at Jack’s IGA in Harvey to carpool to Strawberry Lake.
This class is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. The registration deadline is Friday, June 10. Contact Penny Larsen at 892-8447.
