WRITER ROXANE GAY READS AT NMU

MARQUETTE, Mich.—Fiction writer Roxane Gay will give a reading at Northern Michigan University on Wednesday, June 22. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Pioneer Room B of the University Center. It is free and open to the public.
Gay's writing appears or is forthcoming in Mid-American Review, Rick Magazine, Cream City Review, Annalemma, McSweeney's and other publications. She is the co-editor of PANK magazine and can be found online at http://www.roxanegay.com. Her first collection, Ayiti, will be released later this year. Gay is English professor at Eastern Illinois University and a regular contributor at HTMLGIANT, billed as the “Internet literature magazine blog of the future.”
