NCLL PRESENTS PROGRAM ON U.P. IMMIGRANTS

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “Across the Border—Immigrants of the U.P.” at 11 a.m. Monday, July 11, at the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center in 105 Cohodas Hall at Northern Michigan University.
Daniel Truckey, director of the center, will focus on the unique cultures of U.P. immigrants. This class will include a tour of the Beaumier Center’s photo collection on display.
The class is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. The registration deadline is Thursday, July 7. Contact Jim Matteson at 228-4165.
