SECOND CITY PERFORMS AT NMU

MARQUETTE, Mich.— The Second City comedy troupe will present “The Best of Second City: LOL” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre.
The Second City has served as a springboard for generations of comedy’s best and brightest. Its alumni include Tina Fey, John Candy, Chis Farley, Bill Murray and John Belushi. The Second City has expanded beyond its small cabaret theater in Chicago to become a diversified entertainment company. There are training centers in Chicago, Toronto and Los Angeles and four touring companies. Seating to the NMU performance is reserved. Tickets are $2 for students and $5 for the general public. They can be purchased all NMU EZ Ticket outlets, by calling 227-1032 or at www.nmu.edu/tickets.
