NMU HOSTS TALK ON U.S. POLICY IN LATIN AMERICA

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—Brian Majewski, executive director of the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, will speak about U.S. policy goals in Latin America at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in Reynolds Recital Hall at Northern Michigan University.

Majewski, an NMU alumnus, is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service with the U.S. Department of State. As executive director of the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, he manages 28 embassies and 21 consulates in North, Central and South America. He has received many State Department awards, including Superior Honor and Meritorious Honor, along with a Special Act and Service Award.
