NCLL OFFERS CLASS ON PRESCRIPTION DRUGS

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a class titled “Medicine Cabinet Blues” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the Superior Dome’s room 101-B.
Practicing pharmacist Dave Demerse will explain the benefits or drawbacks of the more common medications used by those within the middle-aged population. A digital slide show will accompany the talk and a question-and-answer session will follow. Participants are encouraged to bring in their own prescriptions for more helpful clarification.
This class is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Register by Saturday, Oct. 15, by calling Judy Martin at 343-6609.
