MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University’s Regional Police Academy held its graduation ceremony Wednesday, Aug. 17, where 19 recruits received certificates of completion. The academy consists of 16 weeks of training during which recruits are required to complete a curriculum set forth by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES).
