MARQUETTE, Mich.—An AARP Senior Safe Driving course will be offered through the Northern Center for Lifelong Learning from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 3-4.

            Instructor Don Balmer will discuss some of the aging-related changes that can affect driving ability, along with ways to compensate for them. The goal is to keep seniors driving safely as long as possible. Some companies offer discounts on auto insurance premiums for completing the class.

            The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Register by Sunday, Oct. 30, by calling Balmer at 249-1273.
