NCLL Offers Woodworking Sessions
MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “Woodworkers Rally: Session III and IV” this winter. Both sessions are scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon Mondays in room 137 of the Jacobetti Center at Northern Michigan University. Session III runs from Jan. 23-Feb. 27. Session VI runs March 12-April 16.
Participants provide their own plans and materials. Instructor Cairl Moore will suggest appropriate tools or machinery in the NMU wood shop and demonstrate how to use them. He will also address skills, safety, finishing techniques and other tricks of the trade. Beginning and advanced woodworkers are welcome.
The cost per session is $40 for NCLL members and $65 for nonmembers. Register by the Jan. 19 deadline by calling Jan Hruska at 225-1871.
