            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “German Prisoner of War Camps in the Upper Peninsula” at 7 p.m. Monday, June 25, in the community room at Peter White Public Library.
            John Pepin, Mining Journal reporter and Enemy in our Midst documentary filmmaker, will discuss the five POW camps in the Upper Peninsula. Film clips and images will accompany this presentation, which will focus on the lives of the POWs, their army guards and the activities of the local civilians they encountered.
            This class is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Register by Thursday, June 21, by calling 227-2979.
