NMU Offers Master's Courses in the Soo

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University will begin offering courses from its Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Master of Arts in English-Creative Writing programs this fall at Lake Superior State University. An informational meeting is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the LSSU library auditorium, room 278.

            The two MPA courses will meet via interactive television on five Saturdays: Sept. 8 and 29, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 8. Principles of public administration will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon on those dates. Organizational theory will be held from 1-4 p.m. The remainder of the courses will be delivered online.

            NMU will offer two English courses toward the master’s degree in creative writing. Genres of writing is scheduled from 5-8:20 p.m. Tuesdays during the fall semester. Non-fiction writing will meet from 6-9:20 p.m. Thursdays.
