Great Lakes Water Quality Seminar at NMU
MARQUETTE, Mich. —Bill Bowerman will present “How the New Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement of 2012 Improves Protection of the Great Lakes” at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Northern Michigan University. His talk will be held in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building as part of NMU’s biology seminar series. It is free and open to the public.
A world-renowned expert on the study of eagles, Bowerman is chair of the department of environmental science and technology at the University of Maryland and a professor of wildlife ecology and toxicology. He is a native of Munising and also the recipient of NMU’s 2012 Distinguished Alumni Award, which will be presented to him Homecoming weekend.
