Author and Advocate Speaks in Marquette

            MARQUETTE, Mich.— The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a talk by author and advocate Louise Reichert, who will speak about her advocacy for prisoners and their families. The event will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at First Presbyterian Church in Marquette.      

            Reichert will discuss the process of writing The Prisoner’s Prayer Book and how she was able to provide some humanity for prisoners and those feeling there is no hope for the future.

            This presentation is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Register by Thursday, Nov. 8, by calling 227-2979.
