'Legally Blonde' Auditions Set
MARQUETTE, Mich.—Community-wide auditions for the cast of actors, singers and dancers to appear in the musical, “Legally Blonde,” will be held at Northern Michigan University. Preliminary auditions will be held in the James A. Panowski Black Box Theatre. They will take place from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, and Friday, Nov. 16. Dance auditions will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 17. Callbacks are scheduled at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the Forest Roberts Theatre.

The musical is based on the Amanda Brown novel and 2001 film of the same name. It features a woman who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her boyfriend. The production will take place April 17-20 at Forest Roberts Theatre.
