NMU Holds Annual Holiday Celebration

            MARQUETTE—The annual Lighting Up the Holidays celebration at Northern Michigan University will take place Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the University Center. The public is invited and there is no charge for any of the activities.

            Campus hayrides will depart from the atrium between 4:30-8 p.m. and pictures with Santa will be available from 5:30-7 p.m. A reception with free cookies, hot chocolate and apple cider will begin at 6 p.m. in the Peter White Lounge. There will also be a welcome address, caroling and performances by New Attitudes Dancers.

            The NMU Bookstore will be open until 8 p.m. for its annual holiday sale.
