Young Dubliners Concert Canceled
MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Young Dubliners have been forced to cancel a January 26 concert at Northern Michigan University because lead singer Keith Roberts requires throat surgery. Dan Truckey, director of the Northern Nights performance series, said he is working with the band’s agent to find a replacement date in the spring. Details will be announced as soon as they are available.
“We’re obviously disappointed because a lot of people were looking forward to this concert,” said Truckey. “We just encourage people to be patient as we try to figure things out. Those who purchased tickets should hold on to them because they would be honored if the show is rescheduled for a later date.”
The next Northern Nights concert will feature the Colombian Joropo group, Cimarron, on Saturday, March 16.
