President David Haynes held a university forum on Thursday, Feb. 21.  Among the featured topics were the governor's proposal for the fiscal year 2014 higher education appropriations, enrollment trends and challenges and a review on the international recruitment gaming event that was recently held.

In the forum, President Haynes announced a goal of increasing enrollment 2 percent in each of the next three years, which is a 182 student increase in the first year and over three years would bring NMU's enrollment to 9,700.

Haynes said another forum will be scheduled for mid-March.
