NCLL Visits Mineral Museum

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a trip to the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum in Houghton from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 21. Those attending will meet at at 9 a.m. in the Marquette Mall parking lot by Pizza Hut to board the NMU chartered bus.

The A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum is located at Michigan Technological University and has the largest mineral collection of the Great Lakes region on public display. It is also the official mineral museum of Michigan. Director Theodore Bornhorst and curator George Robinson will lead the tour.

The cost is $15 for NCLL members and $20 for non-members. Register before the Wednesday, March 13 deadline by calling 227-2979.
