Gloriana to Play at NMU March 23

MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Arts and Entertainment is bringing musical act Gloriana to Northern Michigan University. The event will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday March 23, in Vandament Arena. Gloriana has won both an American Music Award for Breakthrough Artist and an Academy of Country Music (ACM) Award for Top New Vocal Group in 2010. The group has toured with Taylor Swift.

Admission is $10 for students and $17 for the public. Tickets are available at the Superior Dome or any EZ Ticket outlet. The opening act will be Megan James.

Gloriana was formed in 2008 and got its first big break when its self-titled 2009 album hit the No. 2 spot on theBillboard Country Albums chart, fueled by the success of the gold-certified single “Wild At Heart.”  The band’s latest album is A Thousand Miles Left Behind, featuring the hit single, “(Kissed You) Good Night.”

This concert is supported by the NMU Student Activity Fee.
