MARQUETTE— Northern Michigan University’s International Dancers and Steppin’ Out Ballroom Dance Club will host a night of food, music and dancing for students and community members. The annual NMU Ball will begin with a social time at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 23, in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms. Dinner is at 6:30, followed by music and dancing from 8-11 p.m.           

Dinner tickets for NMU students are $10. NMU students may attend the ball for free after 8 p.m. with student ID. Tickets for the public are $25 per person and include dinner.

            Music will be provided by Westerly Winds, a 16-piece big band. The event is semi-formal, which means no jeans or t-shirts will be allowed.
