Rehearsals for the Marquette Choral Society begin at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, in the choral room of the Thomas Fine Arts Building at Northern Michigan University. The traditional "Carols in the Cathedral" Christmas concerts will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral on Dec. 7-8. NMU Professor Floyd Slotterback directs the group.

The Choral Society is open to all interested singers. No audition is necessary. Singers may join at any time during the first three rehearsals, Sept. 9, 16 and 23.
