NCLL Sponsors Green Home Tour

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer two tours of the unique Net-Zero Home from 10 a.m. to noon and 12:30- 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at N8363 Onota Hill Lane in Deerton.
            Christine and Sam Simonetta envisioned this home and worked more than a decade to create it. The tour will show the home’s design, features and wind system. The couple earned the Five Star Home Grant from the State of Michigan in 2003 and the GreenMax Home Grant from WPPI Energy and the Alger Delta Electric Cooperative in 2010.
