Media are welcome to cover a "topping off ceremony" at the new Jamrich Hall being constructed on Northern Michigan University's campus.  Ironworkers typically hold a topping off ceremony to mark the installation of the highest piece of steel on a project. It is scheduled to start between 9:45-10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18. NMU President David Haynes will assist in bolting up the ceremonial last piece of steel for the building. 

Media wishing to cover the event are asked to contact Kristi Evans at 227-1015 by 5 p.m. Tuesday for advance instructions on where to meet. Hard hats will be required.
