MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Michigan University Regional Police Academy will host an informational meeting for prospective applicants. There are two sessions to choose from: Tuesday, Oct. 8, or Wednesday, Oct. 9. Each will be held at 5 p.m. in room 132 of the NMU Jacobetti Complex on Sugarloaf Avenue.

Topic areas will include Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) requirements to enter the academy, NMU requirements to attend, an overview of the academy and an opportunity for questions.
