MARQUETTE, Mich.— The Northern Michigan University student organization Women for Women will host a 5K/Fun Run on Saturday, Oct. 19. Registration begins at 6 p.m. in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center and the race starts at 7 outside the building. Proceeds will be donated to the Marquette General Hospital oncology unit.

Registration is $5 the day of the event. Runners will receive a pink glow stick to wear on the route. Luminaria bags will also be available for purchase and decoration for $1.50. A limited number of shirts from Women for Women’s campaign will also be available for purchase.
