NCLL Offers Program on Pacific Northwest

            MARQUETTE, Mich.— The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a presentation on a journey through the Pacific Northwest titled “Peaks, Parks and Perks” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, in room 101-B of the Superior Dome.

            Presented by NCLL member Carol Margrif, the event will provide a visual recap of a fall 2012 trip through the Pacific Northwest. Topics will include Glacier and Mt. Ranier National Parks, Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood, Seattle’s Chihuly Glass Museum, the Columbia River Gorge, Portland’s International Rose Test Garden and sea life along the Oregon coast.

            This event is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Register by Thursday, Oct. 31, by calling 227-2979.
