'Breaking Bad' Star Visits NMU

            Marquette, Mich. —Actor Giancarlo Esposito, who played Gus in the cable television series, Breaking Bad, will speak at Northern Michigan University on Monday, Nov. 11. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center. Admission is free for students with an NMU ID and $2 for the general public.

            Esposito will discuss his experiences growing up around drugs and alcohol and share lessons concerning perspective, cultural understanding and self-growth. Raised by parents of the performing arts, Esposito first appeared on Broadway in 1966 at the age of 8. His work throughout the 1960s and 1970s led him to increasingly prominent roles on television and in movies.
