NMU Choirs Perform Dec. 5

MARQUETTE— Northern Michigan University will hold a choir concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in Reynolds Recital Hall inside the C.B. Hedgcock building. This concert is free and open to the public.
According to director Floyd Slotterback, the concert will be performed in three parts. The University Choir will open with a multimovement piece from the Baroque era, followed by the Madrigal Singers performing a series of medieval carols. The University Choir will close the concert with Swedish and Norwegian traditional carols, featuring a woodwind trio.
