Four Rock Bands Perform at NMU
MARQUETTE, Mich. — Four rock bands from across the country will converge at Northern Michigan University for a one-night show on Thursday, Feb. 20. Doors to the University Center Explorer Rooms open at 7 p.m. Nonagon and The Rutabega hail from Chicago and South Bend, Ill., respectively. Victory & Associates from San Francisco and local band Two Holes of Man rounds out the foursome. Admission is free for NMU students and $1 for the general public.
The concert is organized by the NMU student group First Aid Productions. According to president Corey Sustarich, “Nonagon is a punk band sprinkled with indie roots, The Rutabega is a sinister twist on Midwest indie rock, Victory & Associates is a noisy power pop band full of live energy and Two Holes of Man is a loud, local rock and roll extravaganza.”
