Coffee House Concert April 5

Friday 28, 2014

MARQUETTE, Mich.--The Beaumier Coffee House Concert Series for April will feature two singer-songwriters from Marquette County. Bryan Drewyor and Raymond Little will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center.  Cookies and beverages will be available.  Admission is free, with donations encouraged.

Drewyor is primarily a self-taught performer who grew up in the Midwest surrounded by a family full of musicians and artists. From childhood, he was heavily influenced by bluegrass, jazz, rock and folk. He inevitably connected with the piano at an early age and acoustic guitar soon after. Bryan encompasses countless styles into his songwriting. The lyrics that fill his songs with life are deeply rooted in relationships and experiences, that come from living, growing and realizing life’s greater gifts.

Little is a 25-year-old singer/songwriter from Big Bay. He has put out two full length LPs, "Brighter shade of blue" in 2011 and "Dice Cup" in 2013. He performs in two local groups: the acoustic-based Lost Dog and the electric Lost Dog & The Big Hustle. The former recently finished a six song EP titled "Monster in the sea." Lost Dog members will accompany Little at the Beaumier Coffee House concert.
