NCLL Offers Leather Workshops

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present two hands-on workshops led by leather worker Al Winfield. Participants will learn how to create belts and pet collars from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, June 12, in the craft room of Peter White Public Library. A second workshop will create an assortment of leather belts—from narrow to wide—from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, June 13, in the craft room at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans. Individuals may attend one or both sessions. Each will include instructions on staining and embossing the leather.

The cost of each workshop is $10 for NCLL members and $15 for non-members. Register by Wednesday, June 4, by calling 227-2979.
