MARQUETTE, Mich. — Amber Warren of East Tawas is the recipient of the Peter White Student Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 year.

To be eligible for the scholarship students must be pursuing a degree in the Walker L. Cisler College of Business. First preference is given to applicants who demonstrate academic excellence and are from the Upper Peninsula.

The Peter White Student Scholarship was established in 1993 by Anne Maxwell Reynolds Frazier, great granddaughter of Peter White.
