MARQUETTE, Mich.- Angela Black of Standish is the recipient of the Dakota House Endowed Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.

To qualify for the scholarship students must be an active and positive role model living in the Dakota House of Halverson Hall. The nominee must also be in their second, third or fourth year living in the house, with plans of living there for the following year.  

The scholarship was established in 1999 by alumni who resided in Dakota House, while they were students at Northern Michigan University.
