A workshop on making green smoothies, including free samples, and a tour of the Northern Michigan University hoop house will be offered from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Jacobetti Complex commons. The public is invited. 

NMU students in an environmental campaigns class are raising awareness about the hoop house, located outside the Jacobetti Complex. The workshop is titled "What the Kale Do I Do with All These Vegetables?" It will be followed by a tour to show participants educational, volunteer and research opportunities at the hoop house.
