Ebola Panel Discussion Thursday

Northern Michigan University's international programs office will host a panel discussion on Ebola as the first in a series of periodic talks aimed at examining current global issues from a local perspective. The panel will convene at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in 1320 Jamrich Hall. The public is invited to attend.

NMU professors scheduled to speak at the event are: Madison Ngafeeson of business, a Cameroon native who will share the perspective of someone from a west African country; Yuba Gautam of health and human performance, who will share his expertise in community health education; and Tom Isaacson of communication and performance studies, who will discuss the media and public relations aspects of the Ebola epidemic. There will be a question-and-answer session following the panelists' presentations.
