Two U.S. Foreign Policy Talks in May
The Northern Michigan University political science department will host two presentations this month on U.S. foreign policy. Both are free and open to the public.
Samir Kassab from the University of Miami will address "Weak States and Major Powers: Strategies for Global Security." His talk is scheduled from 2-3:30 p.m. Monday, May 11, in 1313 Jamrich Hall.
Kelsey Larsen of Georgetown University will present "Wired for War: What Combat Service Tells Us about Who Will and Won't Start the Next Global Conflict." The lecture is based on Larsen's research on the impact of combat trauma on the foreign policy preferences of U.S. veterans. It is scheduled from 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21, in 1313 Jamrich Hall.
