Northern Michigan University Public Safety is seeking help from area residents that may lead to the recovery of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle is a solid white 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck with an extended cab. It bears Michigan license plate CMA2106.

The pickup was stolen from a campus parking lot adjacent to Magers and Meyland residence halls late Friday, June 26, or early Saturday, June 27. Some of the truck’s contents were found in the Forestville area of Marquette Township, but the GMC Sierra remains missing.

NMU Public Safety reports vehicle thefts on campus are rare. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call 227-2151.
